AutoSolids 2004 DEMO provides AutoCAD 2004/2005/2006 with constraint-free parametric solid modeling, advanced visualization, and 3D-to-2D automation tools, bringing AutoCAD's 3D capabilities up to par with it's world-class 2D capabilities.
Advanced Solid Modeling
AutoSolids “primitive” shapes(box, cylinder, extrude, sweep, etc.) are quickly created through concise, intuitive dialogs. Primitive shapes are combined through boolean operations(union/subtract/intersect) to create complex solids. AutoSolids captures the construction history of all solids, allowing them to be quickly and easily changed at any stage of the design process. Any primitive parameter(cylinder diameter, extrusion height, taper angle, etc.) can be modified at any time, and profiles and guide paths of extruded, swept, and revolved primitives can be easily stretched or even replaced by entirely new geometry. Fillets, chamfers, and slices are also easily modified, and boolean operations are easily retracted.
Automatic 2D Drawing Generation
AutoSolids' QuickDraw feature instantly creates and aligns multi-view 2D drawing geometry from 3D solids for quickly creating accurate detail drawings.
Advanced Visualization Tools
RealView offers additional display controls and greatly improves 3D Orbit functionality.
Complete AutoCAD Integration and Compatibility
AutoSolids' commands are available from the AutoCAD command line or from AutoSolids' pulldown/toolbar menus, and all AutoSolids data can be seamlessly shared between all AutoCAD users, whether AutoSolids-equipped or not.
This DEMO version of AutoSolids has no time limit and can create solids of any complexity, although the editing commands and other specialty tools have functional restrictions. Full versions of AutoSolids and additional information are available at http://www.autosolids.com.
