AttLink uses AutoCAD reactors to link the attribute values of block instances, so that when the attribute values of a block instance are modified using AutoCAD's DDATTE or ATTEDIT commands, the attributes of all linked block instances are likewise modified everywhere in the drawing, including in all drawing Layouts. Any number of block names may be linked, and any combination of attributes within the block definition may be linked or left independent per block instance.
For example, the title blocks used for different drawing layouts may all be linked, omitting certain independent attributes per sheet, such as sheet number. Now, when any title block is edited, all title blocks will be changed to match.
