BBISO - 2 Angles Piping Isometrics - is an addon to AutoCAD 2000,2000i,2002 for drawing piping isometrics.
It's a unique way of CAD drafting of isometrics, employing a point and 2 angles. Making 1 symbol into an infinite symbol by supplying different angles.
All the symbols are parametrically drawn with lines & polylines and added as a group, making the program simple, compact and small, and modifications easy. Included are all the utilities required to produce isos, like isometric dimensioning, isometric texts, triangles hatching, scaling & layering.
Commonly used assemblies like Control valves arrangement, PSV's arrangement, Pumps Suction & Discharge arrangement, can easily be customed added to the program interface to save time and labour, unlike blocks these asseblies can be seperated and dissected, and almost everything are done through one simple interface of dialog boxes.

great --tanya

Poor dialogue box design. Their are switches that serve more than one purpose, which adds to the confusion. Until you get used to the program it is very hard to tell what item you are selecting. I personally do not like the dialogue box poping back up after inputing each selection. The dimensioning is flawed and the text function could be better. The program uses a data file to determine the default size of the components being drawn. Too bad that he doesn't tell the user what all the columns of numbers are for, it would make it easier to customize. I do like the use of parametrics over blocks and the automatic grouping of entities. --J. WILLIS

Nice simple program, but it lacks a complete help facility. Also the authors want a 15 dollar fee to register the shareware version and offer a full package. The cost is unknown, as well as how to get in touch with the author to buy. The offer form referred to in the readme file does not exist. Maybe he doesn't want to make any sales.... --B. Lee

It is a good and low budget program --S. Goezinne

For drawing basic isometrics it is a verry good program. --S. Goezinne
