This program will extract the elevation from an alignment and place a label and/or point object on the plan. The label and point are linked to the alignment. As a result any changes to the alignment will be reflected by a change to the label and points (objects must be on a layer that is unlocked).
- The plan can be annotated with the alignment elevation or the user can apply a slope at the offset distance and/or apply an adjustment factor to the elevation.
- If the program endpoint snap is used the program snaps to the selected object’s end point, the label will be placed parallel to the object at this end point. E.g. If a lot line is selected; the label is placed parallel to the street.
- The “maximum offset distanceEis used as a guide to verify that the correct alignment is used or that the program is selecting the correct location. i.e. a “UEshaped alignment. If the ROW is 10m with the alignment at center, the offset distance to property line should not be greater than 5m. If 5m is set as the max offset distance the user is notified when the offset exceeds this value.
- The elevation adjustment for the point and label can be the same or can be different. |
